Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Review and Verify Project Costs

  • Review cost and expenses submitted from project sites to ensure that all supporting documents are complete and in compliance with the Company's financial guidelines and policies.

Improve Financial Processes and Systems

  • Reassess and reorganize existing cost control and payment processes to align with the new accounting system, ensuring improved efficiency, accuracy, and workflow integration.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Assign responsibilities appropriately to junior finance staff to ensure workload balance.

Cost Report and Budget Development

  • Conduct detailed reviews of cost reports and project budgets, identifying varlances and recommending necessary adjustments to ensure financial control and cost discipline.

Financial Arrangement and Payments Scheduling

  • Organize financial arrangements in a structured and time-efficient manner to support project timelines and vendor expectations.

Cash Flow Management

  • Manage project case outflows carefully to ensure timely payments without unnecessary delays.

  • Avoid premature payments where work is incomplete or documentation is insufficient, in order to protect the company's financial position.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • Minimum 7-10 Years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role

  • Proven experience in the construction industry or project-based accounting environment

  • Strong background in managing accounts payable and payment workflows.

  • In-depth knowledge of Thai tax regulations (e.g., WHT, VAT), payment terms, and procurement controls.

  • Familiarity with construction project cost structure (e.g., Work Orders, Purchase Orders, Retention, Advance, Interim Certificates)

  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Cloudia) and digital approval workflows (e.g., DocuSign, Bill One)

  • CPD license

  • Fluent in Thai and good command of English (for international project coordination)
