2. Strict Management of the Defects Liability Period (DLP)

In accordance with our commitment to quality, SMCC adheres to rigorous DLP protocols:

Warranty Extensions: If a specific defect is rectified during the DLP, a new DLP for that specific item will commence from the date of repair. This "evergreen" warranty ensures the component performs as intended for a full cycle, even if the general project DLP has expired.
Liability Beyond Contract: We recognize that professional liability for architects, engineers, and builders regarding negligence may extend beyond standard breach-of-contract timelines. SMCC maintains comprehensive professional indemnity and rigorous documentation to protect all stakeholders.

Immediate Incident Response: When a high-risk safety or quality breach is identified (e.g., unauthorized access to a high-risk zone or structural displacement), Radiant generates an immediate rectification plan that can be triggered with immediate response by the Project Manager.
Seamless Workflow Integration: Radiant fits directly into SMCC’s existing site structure. It ingests data from telemetry, drones, and site cameras, turning isolated observations into a broader, automated defense against project delays and safety hazards.
